Join our photo contest!

At George at Work, we love to see the end result of our customers' purchases. It's always exciting to see, for example, how a workshop setup looks in a real garage or workshop. That's why we've come up with the photo contest. We welcome atmospheric photos that we can then share on our social media channels. And we'd like to give something back! You have the chance to win a Kamado M50 barbecue in black!

How to participate:

• Read the terms and conditions carefully.
• Take beautiful, sharp photos. Be creative!
• Email the photo with your order number via WeTransfer to [email protected]
• Follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram to follow the announcement of the winners!

Terms and Conditions

Terms of Participation

• By participating in the photo contest, these terms and rules, as well as the decisions of the jury, which are final and binding in all respects, apply.
• A participant can enter the photo contest with multiple photos and thus have a chance to win a prize. One condition is that the photos are taken by yourself.
• The product being photographed must have been purchased at George at Work.
• Employees of George at Work are not eligible for the prizes offered.
• The photos are sent via WeTransfer to [email protected] stating your order number at George at Work. This email address is used exclusively to receive photos for this photo contest and should not be used as our contact email address.
• The photos must be of high quality and must have a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Photos of low quality and lower resolution will not be accepted and will not participate in the photo contest. 

Prizes

• The jury consists of the marketing department and the management of George at Work. They evaluate the photos and select the final winners.
• The winners will be publicly announced on Facebook and Instagram. The individuals who have won a prize will also receive a personal message.
• The prize is not exchangeable for cash or other value compensation.
• In total, 5 barbecues are being given away; these 5 will be distributed among customers of George at Work and Jimmy at Work.

Liability

• George at Work is not liable in the event that the photo contest is interrupted for a certain period of time due to technical interruptions.
• George at Work is not responsible for unsuccessful attempts to participate in the photo contest.
• The photo contest runs from June 22 to July 20, 2024. and can be extended, interrupted, or terminated by George at Work at any time.
• By participating in this photo contest, you grant George at Work the right to use the photos, without any compensation and free of reproduction rights, for advertising purposes. This means that the photos are owned by George at Work, including the non-winning entries.
• By participating, you guarantee that you are the creator of the photo(s) and that you own the intellectual property rights and personality rights to the photo.
• If other people are in the photo, you guarantee with your participation that you have all the rights of the other persons (portrait rights, personality rights, etc.) with regard to the photo(s), and that the person(s) photographed have given permission to participate in the photo contest.
• In case of a dispute between you and/or third parties regarding the posted photo, George at Work is not liable. By participating in our photo contest, you fully indemnify George at Work for all costs arising from a claim by a third party, directly or indirectly as a result of posting a photo offered. This explicitly includes claims for infringement of any intellectual property rights, infringement of privacy rights, unlawful acts, and violations of legal provisions.
